Experimenting with form, color, and iconography to create a uniform and memorable visual brand for Pegasystem's suite of mobile applications. Applied a golden rule of thirds, using 3 tones of blue and 3 shapes to construct each icon.
These are some of the axed icon designs. Experimented with many different themes before settling on the final version above. In previous versions, dropshadows were too heavy, white text on blue background was illegible, and font was too thick. In the final version, the kerning was adjusted so that "pega" could be read on a small screen, and dark text on light background allowed the images to pop.
